The Bloomington Healing Rooms opened in April 2009.  Here we post some reports of individuals who came to receive prayer for healing, and what happened:

April 2010:

* You prayed for me last Wednesday at the healing rooms. I just wanted to let you know that God brought me into a new place of freedom that evening. God has freed of the spirit of perfectionism, unworthiness, and self-condemnation. After I left, I was driving back to my apartment, and I heard this spirit-proclamation inside me: "THE STANDARD YOU HELD YOURSELF TO HAS BEEN BROKEN. AND THE NEW STANDARD, MY STANDARD, HAS BEEN TAKEN CARE OF BY JESUS." And then, I felt subtly in my body, like a ruler that had been strapped to my back and shoulders to keep my posture straight and rigid was snapped. And I feel quite free from the standard of perfection that I've held myself to for long as I can remember. It's been a beautiful past few days. I feel like my heart is a clean house, and I can't quite put into words the newness I feel inside. Today is the first day since then that old ways, especially the emotion of sadness, have been trying to get hold of me and steal my new grounds. I remember what you said about holy sorrow leads to repentance, and other kind of sadness/sorrow is not from God, and am learning to rebuke the spirit of sadness when it descends on my heart. That's all. God is absolutely amazing.

September 2009:

 * The Lord realigned my arms to the same proper length and relieved a significant amount of back/shoulder pain.  He brought to light emotional pain and allowed me to be healed.

August 2009:

* Had cataracts and reduced near vision. After prayer, could read several lines lower on the eye chart with each eye.  The knee pain left too.

July 2009:

*I had a sinus infection for a month.  That was healed after prayer in April, and I also got free from smoking.

*I got prayed for on 4/29/09 and asked for prayer for my neck and shoulder pain, which was chronic.  This has since stopped hurting me.  I also asked for prayer for a deep heartache and stress I was having regarding a relationship loss.  God gave me amazing peace and freedom since then.

June 2009:

*Had chronic gastrointestinal bleeding and pain, which improved gradually over two days after prayer.  At first there was some immediate relief, then by morning 50% relief, then totally gone two days after prayer.  Also received emotional healing.

May 2009:

* I smashed big left toe, dropped a concrete block on it, unable to move or put weight on it, was using crutches.  After prayer had dramatically experienced a difference.  I could immediately move foot/toe, bend it and put weight on it and walk normally.  The next day I jumped off the kitchen counter and landed on the toe and had zero pain. Praise the Lord!
